Summary of changes:

  * Some bug fixings.
  * "Soften Flag" attribute is added to edge. "Harden Selected" will turn it off. "Soften Selected" will turn it on.

Now we have commands to harden/soften edges, so this color will show you what you softened or hardened by hands. It is like crease for Hard edges mode.

But how is this different?  There were already commands to harden and soften the edges, and to display them in different colors.

There are edges that was harden/soften by autosmooth they have one color, but also there are edges that you harden/soften by hands they have different colors, to make you know what you harden/soften by hands.

So....we just have 2 colors for essentially the same thing?  I am trying to understand the workflow for this feature.

Hi Mason,

So....we just have 2 colors for essentially the same thing?  I am trying to understand the workflow for this feature.

The main change to workflow is how the "P_AutoSmooth_Whole" functions.

Originally.
Running "P_AutoSmooth_Whole" would set all edges to hard/soft based on set angle within that tool/function.

What as changed.
When you use edge tools to manually set hard/soft edges, the "P_AutoSmooth_Whole" now as an option to leave those edges as they are set ("IgnoreEdgeHardenFlag")
The new color options where added so you can distinguish between what edges have manually been set to hard/soft and which edges have been set to hard/soft by "P_AutoSmooth_Whole" tool/function.
