Title: Nvil 64 bits ?
Post by: cgisoul on April 15, 2013, 04:41:09 am
Hi, I heard about Nvil and I'm very curiose as everyone seems to compare it with Silo.
Although I'm an hardcore silo fan for years, the down side is that Silo can't handle very well heavy meshes.

Is Nvil already 64bits ready? or 32bits?

Thank you.

NVil currently is 32-bit. 64-bit is something in the future.

This thread may help you to increase your memory capacity for 32-bit apps.

IStonia,

I really hope it will turn into 64bits soon before the application itself is further down the line.
I am not a developer myself, so I can only assume that turning a 32 bits app into a 64 bits app is a pain.

Thank you. Will give it a try tonight.
