Title: Retopo tools splines broken

when ever i try to adjust the segments with splins with contorl+mouse wheel the tool either does nothing or crashes nvil, and if i use hte UI i just does nothing and the whole tool breaks.

still broken, if i hold control and scroll the whole tool breaks, or even if i switch the segmeants from the UI.

the tool works fine if segmeants are set ahead of time than it is used.

also could you make it so when dragging out stuff with x in retopo it respects your angle stepping settings?

i sometimes end up using it on more mechanical stuff and having exact lines is nice, and it slows thigns down haveing to turn retopo off, than do the scale edge loop trick

I couldn't reproduce the problem. Can you make a video of that? And what kind of errer message did you get?

Also I don't understand this:

ya will make a video tomorrow night.

what happens is i hold x drag the lines out to make the splines, than connect them up, and if i changing the segments at this stage, the new geo just disappears, and i cant recreate it till i restart nvil.

that is what i have been experience, when useing control + wwb the retopo mesh just dissapears and the whole tool is broken till i restart nvil.

it gave me no errors while recreating the problem which is still existent on both debug versions, but on startup i get thise error message

does the debug drop a log file anywhere?

There is no log file. When in debug mode, I make some error messages available for me.

Can you check this? Once you connect the spline then scroll wmb, there will be a series of messages out put. Please note each of them and don't miss any.

it seems to be a issue with my configs for nvil most likley my keys, since i backed up and deleted the config files for nvil, and i no longer get this error on any version.

im not really sure what would be conflicting with control+wmb though.

it also could be done to my configs being from really early versions of nvil, since i carry them over to every new version since i invested a lot of time in setting up my keys, custom streamlines and radial menus.

olny bind i have on control is Exclude Selection, and nothing but the defaults on mwb.

would it still help to run the debug for you and take down the event messages?

I still want to know what may cause it. Can you set up your previous configs which cause the problem and run the dubug version?

is it possible to have it so when you connecting the splines to be used that you can also lock that drag line to angles just like when cutting the splines?
