Title: Spline Modify > Twist (Fixed)
Post by: steve on October 10, 2012, 07:10:17 pm
Hello,

When using the "spline Modify", I am only able to enter integers into the "Twist" modifier. Should I not be able to add a twist of, for example 0.5? If not, then why the 4 places of decimal shown in the twist option?

The twist option in "Slide" does allow partial(decimal placed) twists.

Thanks,

Are you sure? I just checked it and I can key in 4.23 or something like that.

Yes, sure.

I just tried again with the latest version. When I type an integer, the rest completes itself. For example, If I attempt to enter 4.23, I enter 4 and the decimal places are automatically added with zeros.

I just checked in a version from July with new config files, and that shows the same problem on my setup.

Maybe NVIL does not like my setup? But strange, that is the only input window I am having a problem with.

It seems the spinner control looses focus unexpectedly. See if you can type in 15 and keep your eyes on the cursor.

I cannot type in 15. When I type the "1" it auto finishes, so by the time I enter "5" it becomes 51

I can enter 51 which becomes 15 :)

When making an entry, the cursor does change to a spinner.

Ah, its another problem related to docking. If I un-dock the visual tools, then no more problem.
