Title: Smart Selection Tool

Hi guys,

I have a question about selection tool . Right now i have one hotkey for "Full Grow Selection" and  one for "Loop Select".

What im looking for is to have one hotkey for this two things together, (like i was in silo)

If i select only one polygon and press hotkey it selects all polygons, if i select 2 polygons it acts like loop select . The program checks if only one poly is selected or not.

Is it possible to create this in Composite Tools? Sorry im totaly noob in scriptin etc. Thanks in advance.

It does not need hotkey to create those 2 selections you mentioned. It needs double click. Check this
Help > Contents > Modeling > Selection Tools.

But if you still want the way you mentioned, try this

I have improved a tool so it should be able to do that.
 * Universal Loop Selection(Range/Gap) is improved. If the existing selection is only one subobject, whole mesh selection grow or edge loop selection will be performed.

Hi,

Thanks a lot for update! Works perfect . Im not using double klick because, it does not work well on tablet with pen. For this reason this option with universal tool is realy useful!  :)
