Title: Orient Manipulator mode
Post by: Mason on January 16, 2017, 01:25:58 pm
Orient Manipulator mode  does not seem to work with a single component selected,  although will work as expected when more then one component is selected.

ie:  orientation is aligned to world when a single polygon is selected, but if 2 polygons are selected it will orient the manipulator to the averaged normal of the two polygons.

I works fine on me. You need to set Orientation option to Selection in Manipulation window.

This part i am doing,  but Orientation to Selection only works when more then one component is selected.  It will not align correctly with a single polygon selected for example, and defaults to object orientation.

Manipulation > Snapping Options > Use Object Orientation In Subobject Snapping.

Thanx!  So many options!  Currently integrating all of the new features in the last year into the UI, and streamline tools.
