can you please adding convert to hard edge by selected polygon? it will be fast if i can selected hard edges in specified area like my pic below.
(http://s32.postimg.org/6g8gjs2oh/convert_to_hard_edge_by_selected_polygon.jpg) (http://postimg.org/image/6g8gjs2oh/)
second request, is this possible done through code?
(http://s32.postimg.org/819y6d8r5/ngonresolve.jpg) (http://postimg.org/image/819y6d8r5/) i mean there is triangle and NGON after chamfer operation.
heres my solution to get all quads. Merge the the triangle and connect those vertices with select similar after that i delete the triangle to get all quads. To get the straight shape i use edge loop tidy standard at the end.
my video if you dont understand what im saying

i think i will really hard if you change the chamfer algorithm. Maybe by selected polygon or edge.

Do you mean select hard edges in/by selected polygons?

It is too hard to implement.

"Do you mean select hard edges in/by selected polygons?"
yes something like that. is this already in nvil? I cant find that.
the second request idea came from this guy at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GvkSdC-kJ8c
i tried to manipulate with your chamfer edge to get same result.
"It is too hard to implement."
Well ok then, if you say so. its Ok
