Title: select by angle streamline

i think other 3d software have this feature. it can be usefull for select some face like this example.

scroll wheel to increment the angle. hold capslock to increment by 15.
i dont need paint select again it really slow when u have a lot a face.

Have you tried this?
- Grow Selection Within Hard Edge Boundary, ideally work with this kind of selection.

Also you can use these tools:
- Select Similar Facing
- Select Similar Facing(Connection Only)
For these commands check: Preference -> General -> Select Similar Facing Threshold

it worked like charm with select similiar facing treshold.

Mogul, now you can use this new option to Select Similar Facing(Connection Only)

  * Edit > Preference > Options > Switch similar facing double click select from MMB To LMB.

When you turn this ON you will be able to select Similiar facing by double click LMB on polygon, to select mesh you will use dowble click MMB.

streamline it would be better that you can add some other features, such as loop hard edge

thanks. but grow selection by hard edge boundary more than enough for me.
