Title: Booleans
Post by: steve on June 28, 2012, 09:54:01 am
Hello,

Booleans do not appear to be functioning. After selecting A/B, there is a wait, then either the tool exits with no boolean, or there are a number of inconsistent cuts made to the remaining object.

show a exemple?

i always find booleans useless, since i get cleaner results by using a obejcts as a guide and cutting by hand.

I see little point to that comment, unless of course you are referring to them being useless when they do not work

Cleaner in which way? Do you mean from the auto triangulation that is performed during booleans, to stop problems with (mis-handling of) concave n-gons?.
Going the direction you put forward is just adding extra work to what should just be a few mouse clicks.
