Hi Istonia,
I have been trying to get better organization for objects in scene to export.
Currently, I combine objects(to act as [mesh] groups) and export to .dae.
When combing mesh into one object, the objects names are partially transferred to the mesh, which is good, so easy to keep track. The problem I am seeing is if I "Split" an object into its mesh parts, the objects mesh are not shown/named in the mesh list, if they are again combined, the objects name is not transferred, instead a new name is created for the mesh.
For simple example.
I have 3 box. Named "object_box", "object_box_01" and "object_box_02"
I "Combine" the 3 box.
I now have one object called "Object_combined" that contains 3 mesh named "Box", "Box_01" and "Box_02"
I then object > "Split"
I have 3 objects named "Box", Box_01" and "Box_02". However, none of those objects show as having a mesh in the mesh list.
If I then combine those 3 box. I have an object named "Object_combined" that contains 3 mesh named "New_name", "new_name_01" and "new_name_02"
When you can find time, could you please check?
Thanks,

Hi IStonia,
That problem is also throwing up an error when attempting to save scene(.VWS).
I have those 3 box. I "combine" them, then "object > split" them, then attempt to save scene. I get error popup:-

Fixed in May-20 build.
Many thanks IStonia.
