Title: loop select not working while steamline tool is active

When some streamline tool is active, like chamfer or extrude, the loop select command is not working, except for faces. This is strange, because ring select is working for these components.

Can you give detailed examples? What's working and what's not.

Create a sphere, for example, select it and enter edge mode. Activate the streamline tool chamfer. Now Shift+click select an edge, and try to shift+doubleclick another edge to select a loop, or go to selection->Loop Select, but nothing happens. Do the same with ring select and you'll see that it works. Enter polygon mode and do the same, and this time loop select works. When I just checked, it also worked for vertex loop selections. I noticed the same bug in the extrude streamline tool, but I can't possibly check every single streamline tool.
