Post by: Passerby on March 03, 2013, 10:28:35 pm
what the title says, if i hold down "E" which is my scale key and use lmb or rmb to scale on a plane or axis without hte widget, nvil crashes it it gives the wrong result.

scale works as expected if i just tap E and use the widget.

still broken. Just tried it this morning.

it no longer causes a crash, but now where it normally would display the scale amount beside the cursor, it just says "-infinty" and my object collapses down to something with 0 width on the axis i tried to scale on.

I couldn't reproduce it. What is your option settings, Edit > Options > Scaling Options >.... and what is your 'Scale Factor' value? And were you in object mode?

was in object mode but can't tell you the rest right now since I won't be back at my main computer till tomorrow to check.

Are those options new? they don't sound familiar and I have never had this problem in the past.

Those scale options were added not very long ago, maybe less than two weeks. Which update are you using?

I tried with the config you sent me before and still can't reproduce the problem.

issue fixed it's self, after looking at the scale options i noticed none of them were turned on, so i select maintain position of scaling, and i no longer get this issue.

Think it was a issue of there needing to be a option set, and there wanst one in my config till i hit one of those.
