Samardac Bridges

Hallo everybody,
This is 1.0 Beta release of Samardac Bridges.
Bridges is Software that connects 3D Applications.
At this moment it connects NVil, MoI 3D and KeyShot.

This is Beta so there can be Bugs, so let me know if you meat them.

Requirements:
Windows 64 bit, no less then Windows 7
MoI 3D, no less then  V. 3.0
NVil 3D, latest version*
KeyShot, version 5
*to use T-Spline to connect NVil and MoI you have to install Rhino 5 and T-Spline.

Just tried it, looks like everything is working, try once again.

I have nvil installed in Dropbox, running in portable mode so that I can use Dropbox at home and work with the same hotkeys and preferances.

Do the Bridges support Nvil being used in portable mode?

At the moment, Ctrl+alt+a does not activate Nvil Bridge, but it does start inside Moi.   But when sending to Nvil from Moi,  nothing happens.


I have done the activation so that the Bridge can find the Moi.exe and Nvil.exe which are both installed on Dropbox.

Mason, I do not know how DropBox work so I can not say to you what is wrong.

Dropbox is just a file location.

Nvil can run in portable mode, so that the preferances and hotkeys are stored in the same directory as the application.

I can get the bridge started in both applications and "activated" 

Sadly,  assets are not being exported between Moi and Nvil.

Mason, bridges are activated for both NVil and MoI?
So what is going when you export form MOI to NVil? Window with NVil activates or it stay in MoI?
Also go to c:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Samardac\Bridges\ and see if Samardac Bridges.obj is created.

no .obj is exported when using the bridge from Moi --> Nvil

On one PC, Nvil bride will not activate at all.

Did not activate NVil? Very streng... Nvil has simples activation, just save path to NVil. Is it here c:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Samardac\Bridges\  ini file?
In MoI run Ctrl+Shift+Alt+2 and tell me is here export dialog?

I had to use Run as adminstrator to get Samardac Bridges to activate MoI. I can send stuff from MoI to NVil, but not NVil to MoI. I'm running windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit.

Would it possible to send stuff back and forth to Rhino?

If yes what is going when you push Merge, what is happen?

Would it possible to send stuff back and forth to Rhino?

Bridges do not send models to Rhino in full way, now it just use it as transit for converting obj to nurbs using T-Spline.

Yes, I'm using the lates NVil (it was posted yesterday).
When I push Merge it Exports and Starts MoI, but nothing shows up in MoI.

Do I need the Max Smirnov ImportObj and Subdiv scripts posted on the MoI forum?

Run - Merge, Creas. When it goes to MoI push Ctrl+Shift+Alt+6, and tell me if it works.
You do not need to install Max Smirnov's scripts Bridges install them automatically.

That option was blank by default. After I changed it everything is working.
