Excess cut edges

Please make a setting so that when I use the knife, not create new edges.

Yeah the extra edge cuts annoy me too. 
Btw Darcvizer in your case you can use the Create/Insert to make shapes without doing cuts. You can find it by having nothing selected and going to vertex mode and choose the Create/Insert button. Hope this helps you until this feature gets included in a build.

I can see why its annoying, although  I can also appreciate having it.
