Title: Tesselation in wireframe view
Post by: rubberDuck on April 04, 2013, 10:14:19 am
I've noticed that when I apply a wireframe individual shading mode to an object and set the viewport shading mode to "shaded" or "shaded with wireframe", tessellation shows up on that object.

How can I turn it off?

When in individual wireframe mode, edges of triangle faces will be rendered out. To turn it off, View > Object Shading > Object Individual Shading > Solid or something else but not wireframe.

Okay, but what is the point of displaying tris in individual wireframe mode?
Why it can't just show wireframe like in viewport wireframe mode?

The showing of the underlying tris are needed, as NVIL can edit them.

That would need an extra display option.

Not sure as to why it is set up that way.
