hello,

may it´s already in there, but I can not find it. The idea is to make nvil select identical shaped faces by a given selection.

Like you select a triangle and click on "select identical" and every identical face will be added to the selection.

Imagine, you model a keyboard and want to scale all singel buttons simultanious...
So selecting all faces, that will make up for a button and then click "select identical" will select all other "buttons" - you get what I mean ;)

Cheers and thank you for this good program!

edit: Seems there is something like this already  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_LTTm1rGwY&feature=youtu.be

Ok, another example:

You model a tire-profil and want to select all the parts, that are making up the profile-pattern

"Edit > Customize > Tools" >> "Subobject Shortcut Tools > Select Similar"

"Edit > Preference" >> "General > Select Similar Threshold"
