IStonia can you make manipulator bigger? Like Softimage has:



Now it is too small and thick so very often I can not select edges or vertexes behind it, so I always have to  turn it of and on.



Also that squares in Softimage appears only when you go with cursor other that place, so it do not overlap view port. I know that can be hard task so can you pleas at least add property where we can set size of manipulator and add transparency property, so we can control how it looks.
Or just make it bigger :)

The maniplulator getting in the way of selection can be an issue, but do not see how changing the manipulators size will help much.

I would of liked to see either:-

Tool to "Temp hide manipulator"

or better:-

Option (in customize tools) on:-
Include selection
Toggle selection
Exclude selection
To hide manipulator while tool active (possibly a tick box next to tool?)

(who actually needs manipulator while selecting?)

steve, this small manipulator hides by its body vertexes and edges but when it has long beams you can easely select through them. Now arrows, beams and rectangles are placed very heap.

I agree, in Softimage you have manipulator visible only when you run Move, Scale, Rotate. May be do the same stuff here in NVil?

I just made it very small - 40, and it works not bed. Practically invisible but at the same time you can use it  :D

But it is hard to use rotate :))

By default, the rotate manipulator is now about half the size it was, a bit of a pain to select correct axis. If I change size of manipultor to get rotate manipultor to old size, translate/scale manipultors are too big. :(
