If "Auto Scene Scale" is enabled, then "Toggle Unselected Object Visibility" will change the scene scale in certain cases (if isolated objects bigger or smaller than the size of all objects of the scene). I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think this was the case in earlier NVil versions.
I'm currently on Jan-24 version.

It was implimented to work like that.

I do not know if it was changed then changed back, as I do not use Auto_scale. But if it did not auto_scale based on visible objects, then I would think it a bug/problem.
