Hi,
Anybody on Win7-64 with current windows updates, could you please check nvil FBX import/export.
I am currently seeing issue. It may be due to my updating windows(roundup)/RootCirtificates.?
I checked attempting to import simple box from Blender, got error as shown in pic01. Due to that error, I move the FBX dll from Nvil FBX folder to Nvil main directory, but then got error pic02.
Attempting to export FBX from nvil give similar type error.

Only me having issue?
I can only think that the roundup update (kb3125574-v4-x64) as caused issue, but only with Nvil.

I don't use FBX at the modelling stage, but I noticed that I can import an FBX file just fine if it's plain geometry. Any attempts of importing FBXes containing animation and other stuff end up with the System.NotSupportedException:

In my case the problem is that Nvil cannot find the Fbx64.dll (either for export or import)
The main reasons I wanted to use Fbx is to maintain hierarchy/pivot_locations.
-
Have you moved Fbx64.dll to NVil folder and renamed it to Fbx.dll?
See if you can find any useful information by running Dependency Walker

Can you send me such a file containing other stuff for testing?

Hi IStonia,
My C++ 2012 library needed an update. Something I missed while making other updates.
Now working OK.

Can't do that because it's NDA. I could try reproducing the bug on some basic geo though.

I did a quick test importing FBX with simple animation of a box, no error (extra data ignored).

Oh, go on, I won`t say a word ::) ;D

Okay, I can't reproduce it with a different scene. It is possible that I might had picked some broken FBX file for testing (I randomly chose one from an archive). I'll return to this thread if I stumble upon this error message again.
