Title: Spline modify and multiple selection of objects

Would it be possible to improve Spline Modify tool by adding an option that would allow us to modify a selection of multiple objects as a whole?

At the moment it is required to combine objects into one first. It is problematic, because after splitting them, their names, pivots, rotation axes and groups are lost.
