You can use the 'Cylinder' tool to create cones.

Done. The wrong icon is fixed. Some more missing icons added. Some quirks fixed, the black button background was damaged a bit. And i have added a red iconset now too.

Everything is reuploaded.

Odd. I had a look at it and it should just work. Will have to investigate further. Dunno where my error is. It was definitely no good idea to upload it late in the evening it seems :)

Server hiccup. And a very odd one i may add. What worked before doesn`t work anymore. I had to change the name of the zipfile, and to remove the underscore from it. Now go figure.

This one should work for now, at least it works for me: http://www.reinerstilesets.de/ext/voidworld/Nvilbuttons.rar

I will edit the first entry to have this url too.

EDIT, Done. Hopefully this was it with the hiccups :)

Aaaand done. Phew. Version 2 of the User Toolbars is up. All by the user toolbar available tools are connected here (where it made sense. Some buttons were removed like the align edge or the temporary snapping buttons), all with tooltips, and the buttons that has toggle functionality have a blue hilight background now :)

http://www.reinerstilesets.de/ext/voidworld/UserButtonToolSettings_v2.rar

Please tell me if you find some hiccups that needs fixing.

The buttonset graphics have received another update too. I hope the icons fits to the functionality in most cases. If even, now`s the time for changings when you want another icon here and there. If not i will declare this set as the final set. 5.29 Mb

http://www.reinerstilesets.de/ext/voidworld/Nvilbuttons_r3.rar

And now there`s the funny part to build some toolbars from this base set that can be used for work. Finally the point where similar functionality goes into mmb or rmb button functionality, and where just the toolset survives that is really useful to be in a toolbar. Most probably two or three more weeks of fun, maybe even more :)

Ah, by the way, the "server hiccup" turned out as a caching problem with firefox. I´ve given the new files new names now. And i have tested the download links. This time the download should definitely work :)

The 'Enabled Mode' settings for 'Edge Shortcut Tools' group and 'Spline Vertex Shortcut Tools' group are not right.

Didn`t have this much free time the last days. So the work at the toolbars and buttons progressed slower than thought. But i am very close to the goal now, and have added another step towards that. Which may be a good idea because for my own needs i may delete half of the buttons for the final step.

In this version the button are sorted by options and tools. And i have unioned more than one buttonset into one button with LMB and RMB functionality. And some even with MMB. The ones with additional right click functionality have a little red square up right. The ones that have additionally middle click functionality have another red triangle in the upper left corner. The old toolbar with all the buttons is also still present. So this is the ultimate starterkit to start with building your own toolbars from.

1.2Mb: http://www.reinerstilesets.de/ext/voidworld/UserButtonToolSettings_V3.rar

The main work at the button front is done with that. What`s "just" left ist to move the buttons around a bit. And to build a custom button UI with it. Hm, maybe also worth two sepearated steps. One that mimics the current layout, and one for my own favourite layout then. We will see :)

Tiles, don't bother to make red spot for mouse click indication. This is a hideous thing to do. I will add a automatic feature to draw that base on the mouse click settings. My plane is

-LMB: There will be no mark for LMB as this is generally the default click.
-MMB: top-left.
-RMB: top_right.
-X1:  bottom-left.
-X2:  bottom-right.
-WMBUp:   top-middle.
-WMBDown: bottom-middle.

does it need marks at all, since the marks for the usable keys dont tell you want each interaction type does?
maybe that should be in like a extended tool-tip, that lists the command for each interaction type.

or possible even tie it into the instant help thing that pops up when streamline keys are held, just do it on hover for user too buttons.

I think marks are visually usefull. There is no such thing as extended tool-tip.

Instant Help tool tip is too big and does not have the normal tool-tip's show/hide behaviour.
