I need help with the retopo feature. How does Retopo work?
Here is a video showing the way I use the retopo tool but I am getting some weird results. http://youtu.be/O0sXdsfSYfs

Please let me know step by step on how to use the retopo tool. Thanks.

Add the object you are going to retopo(the cube in your example) to the "Retopo Reference List" (that can be found in the "Scene Explorer"). Once the object is added to list, at the top left of that "Retopo Reference List" window, enable "Retopo Mode Enabled". You can then use the "Retopo" tool/function.

To add:-
Note:- While in "Retopo", it is no longer always possible to be able to change the snapping options via hotkeys or user buttons.
Another new bug or changed functionality.

Hello livnolis,

After you add the object to the retopo list, de-select the object(cube) before you enable the Retopo tool.

Thank you so much! I would have never guessed the last part, to deselect the object.
Again, thanks for all the help.
